Meet Bally!

As most of you probably noticed, I haven’t had much of a presence in the blogosphere this week and that is thanks to this bundle of joy John and I welcomed into our home on Wednesday:

Bally, a 6 month old blue nose brindle pitbull, chose us at the adoption event we attended last Saturday with her beautiful eyes and loving kisses. We brought her home Wednesday and she has been adjusting wonderfully to her new home. While we get settled and form our routine, it’s possible that I might not post as frequently as I have been. Don’t worry – I am NOT going to stop posting (I love all of your blogs and I love writing way too much) but don’t be surprised if my posts are a little scarce the next few weeks.

In the meantime, keep up with me on Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram! I finally got an iPhone so I’m excited to connect with you all through Instagram as well. I’ll still be reading and commenting regularly on all your blogs, just might not have the time to do much writing of my own.

More pics of Bally are definitely on their way!

Yayyyy, pupppyyy!!! I’m so happy for you guys–I think I might have actually squealed out loud when I saw the picture on Instagram. I have a feeling you’re going to be the best puppy-mom ever. I can’t wait to see more pictures! xo

That’s so sweet Alyssa! Don’t worry there will be tons more pictures…I’m obsessed with taking pictures and video of her but I’m trying to tone it down a bit on the internet to resist being one of those puppy parents who can’t stop showing everyone her puppy πŸ™‚

Thanks Maria! She is still settling in to her new surroundings but is doing so good. We are thinking of enrolling in some basic obedience classes soon to help her meet some new dog friends and learn some important commands. I’ll definitely be posting a ton of pics!

We’re having so much fun Jenna! It’s a learning process for all of us each and every day but she is so smart and such a fun girl to be around. Everyone in the neighborhood loves her too!

What a sweetheart!! I know you’ve got your hands full. I’ve got two young pups of my own and they are nothing but trouble and sloppy puppy kisses. πŸ˜‰

We definitely have our hands full with her (but it’s so fun). She picks things up so quickly and is adjusting really well. Nothing excites her more than other dogs and meeting new people…such a sweetie. She loves giving sloppy puppy kisses too πŸ™‚

Thanks! Bally is doing great sleeping through the night with no accidents which we are thankful for. She also loves cuddling on the couch watching TV with us…she’s so relaxed and such a lover πŸ™‚

Thank you Rachel. It’s been an exciting week already πŸ™‚ I can’t wait til she is more comfortable and really opens up to us, it’s definitely fun seeing her excitement when John and I get home and we’re working on putting a fence up so she has more room to play.

She is a little angel! And yes, they are such a misunderstood breed but Bally proves all the stereotypes wrong. I have never seen a less vicious dog in my life….she’ll do anything for treats and belly rubs!
